I think we we had around 40 campers at this event -
The campground is always so generous to provide a great big mess of fried fish for our Thursday night meal - everyone brought fixin's and enjoyed visiting together!
It was relaxed weekend with only a few things planned -
we enjoyed just sitting out by the creek...
and even moved our table 'round back for breakfast each morning...
Just so peaceful...
We also enjoyed shopping around Murphy, NC
[and also a great meat + 3 at Main Street Cafe -- so, so good!!]
And we had a little time in the pool -
Had a little deer hang out with us a moment while we were there...
And I took a little time with Art...
- in between rain showers -
I'm still not caught up with my #ArtJournalSummerSchool [on-line group!]
We had another pot-luck on Friday evening with SO MUCH good food!
And we're so enjoying getting to know the other vintage camper enthusiasts!
We tried to take the time to intentionally visit with friends during this trip -
But we still missed having [good] time with some!!
We've loved camping in #LottieScotty at Riverbend Campground these last two years, but things are always changing, aren't they? [More than I can share with you today.] I still think Lottie is ADORABLE - and I love seeing the moon and stars out her overhead windows!
Hiawassee has very pretty mountain views - and this one might be ours for our next camping trip up that way - LOVE the idea of seeing the mountains from our camper!
